Exam Guidelines

Exam registration rules

• Registrations are processed online only, on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Before registering, candidates must read the full exam structure, terms, and passing criteria on this page and/or the official ÖSD website.
• All personal details must match your valid government ID.
• No changes to personal details will be accepted after registration.
• Candidates with special needs must email: [email protected] for India or [email protected] for Indonesia with documents before registration to check accommodation availability.
• By registering, you agree that your data may be used for administrative and statistical purposes by HCA and ÖSD.

Identification rules

• Only the following IDs are accepted: Passport, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card
• PAN Card not valid for minors
• Your ID must include:
  • Recent photo (not childhood image)
  • Full date of birth (not just the year)
• You must upload a clear color scan of your ID when booking
• You must bring the original ID to the exam. Soft copies, photocopies, or DigiLocker files will not be accepted
• If your current appearance differs significantly from your ID photo, email us in advance

Exam venue info

• Exams take place at HCA examination centers
• Address & reporting time shared one week before the exam
• Venues may be located up to 20 km from city centers—plan your travel accordingly
• Accommodation is not provided—candidates must make their own arrangements
• Latecomers will not be allowed entry; fees will not be refunded
• Bring your own water bottle and snacks—no canteen is available
• Only registered candidates may enter the venue; accompanying persons are not allowed
• Candidates must remain at the venue until the entire exam process is completed

Belongings policy

• Do NOT bring personal items: bags, phones, smartwatches, wallets, or jewelry
• If you bring them, you must leave them in the waiting area at your own risk
• Locker facilities are not available
• Only a transparent water bottle is allowed
• Stationery will be provided—no need to bring pens or paper

Fee & cancellation policy

• Full payment is required at the time of registration
• Exam fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
• Date/time cannot be changed after payment
• No refunds for:
  • No-show or late arrival
  • Involvement in cheating/unfair practice
• In rare cases where HCA must cancel an exam, fees will be refunded or transferred to the next available session
